I am a multidisciplinary artist focused on textile crafts and digital fabrication. I believe that our hands - and the actions and products they create - are means of communication that help us understand ourselves and each other, and that technology can offer us a way to break limitations and be more environmentally and socially conscious. I am drawn to textiles and traditional textile techniques because of their deep connection to history, culture, and the body. Working with fabric allows me to explore the tactile, sensory experience of making, while also engaging with the rich narratives embedded in materials and craft. I view textiles as a medium for storytelling and self-expression, offering a unique way to connect the personal with the universal through the intersection of art, craft, and technology.
